The purest crime thriller - a blast

Rarely have I devoured a book so breathlessly. I couldn't stop reading and when I put it down the birds started chirping. I wasn't tired at all. A story that is also true. The coincidences that the author encounters are just that: events that happen to her, but never coincidences in the sense in which it is usually understood.
Already the alternative practitioner who explains that the great-great-grandfather wants to get in touch with the descendant. It is clear that at first one doubts the sanity of the transmitter. Or even your own. But when this ancestor actually starts sending a lot of messages, quite obviously, albeit in very unusual ways, then things get completely crazy.
It is incredibly exciting to see how an old, lost knowledge of homeopathy is slowly seeing the light of day again. How people come into the author's life who deal with the work of the ancestor, establish relationships, 'coincidentally' provide the information they need, etc. How the right thing always happens at the right time.
The highlight, however, is the surprise when a completely unusual relative "enters the stage" who uses the discovery of the common ancestor in a completely different way than the author does, who uses her as a healer.
This distant cousin also wrote a book, which was also about scents and perfumes. But this book is fictional (as is the film) - although not the idea behind it. This comes from the great-great-grandfather mentioned at the beginning.
There can be no doubt about that. If there had been any doubt at all, it would have been dispelled at the latest when the publisher and author reacted more than negatively to requests for contact, the author even started to tremble and fled when Selma Gienger came to see him and actually just wanted to have coffee with him to be with him exchange with him.
It would be nice that Patrick Süskind would at some point overcome his Gienger phobia and be ready to exchange ideas. He could certainly be fertile.
And the great-great-grandfather on cloud 9 (an important number in the book) would definitely be delighted with it.

Review from Germany from April 12, 2010The "magic" 7. I encountered it on the first page. She suddenly and unexpectedly appears again and again in the gripping plot of the book, which makes you read the book almost breathlessly, drives me, amazes me... Is there really such an abundance of such unlikely coincidences in a person's life? ... a homeopath like myself??
Yes - there is such a thing!
And again and again the "7" peeps almost mischievously around the corner only to briefly disappear again - only temporarily... The author lets me experience and get excited about astonishing "highs" and "lows" in her lively and true-to-life, very independent style.
Are the fragrances really the essence of the effectiveness of homeopathy?
Who was this "Prof. Dr. Jäger", the author's great-great-grandfather? ... it really lets me take part in his life as a polymath at the end of the 19th century. At the same time, I learn a lot of real-life details about people's attitude to life 150 years ago.
...and then, 150 years ago, the great-great-grandpa wrote a criticism of conventional medicine's quest for omnipotence almost exactly in the words I use today, which I, as the conventional and alternative medicine doctor of the year 2010, can fully agree with.
The book is amazing. It's thrilling, it's exciting, informative, funny, tragic, profound, emotional, full of images (those that arise in your head while reading and "real" photos) - - - definitely WORTH READING!

Anthropine the hair fragrance beads invented by Gustav Jaeger, a person who was definitely 100 years ahead of his time - understand homeopathy in a new way - the secrets are finally revealed. I love it when the narrative grabs me and the excitement arises to read through a book from AZ, preferably without a break - completely immersing myself in the world of words. The imparting of true knowledge flows harmoniously and sweetens every other lively story by the author. Finally understand, marvel at, and feel the soul in its purity. A book that gives you the courage to shape life independently in LOVE, full of joy and trust in all of its unfathomable facets of ups and downs. I'm really looking forward to further events...
